  1. As a former winner of the contest I do advise anyone who hasn’t won the contest to enter. At the very least you can do a set at a real club. The brotherhood of the HFP (Houston’s Funniest Person) is always looking for new members. Will it change your life? Probably not. Can it help you gain confidence? Yes. Can it crush dreams? I hope so! I’m not saying you’ll get on TV like former winners John Wessling, Billy D Washington and myself, Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham’s Bob Biggerstaff. Enter the contest and have fun!
